A Life Right grants you the legal right to live in a property for the remainder of your life, without owning it outright. This provides long-term security without the financial responsibilities of full ownership, such as transfer duties, bond registration costs, or ongoing property maintenance.

Instead of purchasing the property, you pay a once-off Life Right investment. Upon passing or when the unit is no longer needed, the Life Right is returned to the estate, and a percentage of the original purchase price is refunded to your estate or nominated beneficiary. The refund percentage is determined by the agreement signed at the time of purchase.

Residents living under a Life Right have access to a full continuum of care, including Assisted Living and Frail Care services, ensuring that their healthcare needs are met as they evolve over time.

Life Rights cannot be sold or transferred. However, when a resident vacates the unit, the estate will manage the resale, and a portion of the original investment will be reimbursed to the resident’s estate or designated beneficiary.
